Good to know that tumblr’s iPhone app is still a piece of crap.
Interesting, its not bad but its not good either.
After looking through my old bills and seeing average data use under 100MB, I think I’m going to drop to the $15 plan. I’ve only gone over 200MB once and that was when I was traveling for 10 days and had no wifi available. It sucks for people who want to tether to their laptops and have to pay $45 a month though.
So I was supposed to close on a house a week from today.
The good news is that the closing is now tomorrow.
The bad news: I can’t move in until Monday, so I have to take a day or two off next week to move instead of getting it done this weekend. And I won’t have a stove until it’s delivered to us in about 2 weeks.
So come on over. And bring me some Wendy’s or something.
That house I put an offer in on a few weeks ago fell through. We were outbid by not one, but three other people. However, last week a similar house across the street from the first went up on the market. The offer went in and was accepted by the bank (it’s a foreclosure, but it’s in remarkably good condition, and we have lawyers and inspectors reviewing the fuck out of everything to cover our asses). We close in 2 weeks if everything goes according to plan (fast huh?). Let’s hope I actually stay put in this house for more than 2 years.
Until the power is out for the whole morning and you have to run up and down 8 flights of stairs to do something as simple as get coffee.
You were 20 years old and 300 miles away from your family, just you and your new husband living the life of broke students. Today, 30 years ago, you added a son to that family. After that, life took off and things changed. People came and people went. Things got a lot more complicated. But you always cared, and you always did everything you could for us, and that was all that mattered. Thanks for all of it, and Happy Mothers Day.
